The Cisco SFP-10G-SR is the industry-standard SR (Short Reach) transceiver, delivering reliable and cost-effective 10 Gigabit Ethernet connectivity over multi-mode fiber (MMF). It is the definitive choice for high-density connections within a data center, enterprise wiring closet, or a single building.
Operating at 850 nm, this module supports link lengths up to 300 meters on OM3 and 400 meters on OM4 MMF. For longer-distance campus links between buildings (up to 10km), the SFP-10G-LR (Long Reach) version should be used with single-mode fiber.
As a genuine Cisco SFP+ module, it supports Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM) for real-time diagnostics and features a low-power design ideal for high-density environments. Fully IEEE 802.3ae and SFP+ MSA compliant, the SFP-10G-SR ensures plug-and-play compatibility with a wide range of Cisco platforms.
