The camera is about half the project

An Axis deployment is rarely just cameras. Each one needs a PoE port with budget to spare, bandwidth back to the recorder, storage sized for the retention you have to keep, and a licence on the video management side. Thirty cameras on a twenty-four port switch is a switching problem before it is a camera problem.

Two things worth settling early. Axis cameras are ONVIF-compliant, so they run under third-party video management platforms as well as AXIS Camera Station, which matters when you are extending an existing system rather than starting clean. And retention drives cost more than resolution does: the gap between fourteen and thirty days changes the recorder specification more than the camera choice will.

That is the part we help with: sizing PoE budget and storage against the camera count, and quoting the switching alongside the cameras so it lands on one order.
