The C9300-NM-8X network module removes that limitation. It installs into the front expansion slot and provides eight dedicated 10 Gigabit SFP+ ports for uplinks to your core or distribution switches. All eight ports can operate at full 10G without oversubscription. The module is hot swappable, so installation does not require powering down the chassis. With link aggregation across all eight uplinks, your switch gains up to 80 Gbps of northbound capacity. Your access layer finally gets the bandwidth it needs.
