The Cisco Catalyst 3560-CX Series Switches make it easy to expand your Ethernet and Multigigabit Ethernet infrastructure beyond the wiring closet, allowing you to create new workspaces, extend wireless LANs, and connect PoE devices. With eight downlink ports and two Cisco UPOE input ports, the Cisco Catalyst WS-C3560CX-8PT-S can be powered by another switch, eliminating the need for a separate power supply. These switches are highly flexible and available for deployment because they receive power over the uplink from an upstream PoE or Cisco UPOE device.
