The Aruba 2530 Switch Series provides reliable and secure Layer 2 access connectivity for enterprises, branch offices and small and midsize businesses, managed with Aruba AirWave or Aruba Central. The J9775A is the 48-port Gigabit data configuration, for closets where endpoints need Gigabit but no power from the switch. Compared with the 48-port Gigabit PoE+ model it drops PoE for a shallower 10.00 in chassis, and HPE records a Miercom Certified Green Award for it.

The HPE Aruba Networking 2530 J9775A is the Aruba 2530 48G Switch, a Layer 2 managed 1U rackmount switch with 48 Gigabit (10/100/1000) ports and four fixed 1G SFP uplinks. Switching capacity is 104 Gbps and forwarding rate is 77.3 Mpps. It carries no Power over Ethernet, so all 48 access ports are data-only. It connects desktops, printers and other wired endpoints in campus and branch wiring closets.

Does the HPE Aruba Networking 2530 J9775A support PoE?
No. The HPE Aruba Networking 2530 J9775A is a data-only switch: its 48 Gigabit access ports carry no Power over Ethernet, so it cannot power access points, IP phones or IP cameras. If you need PoE+ on 48 Gigabit ports, the J9772A is the PoE+ counterpart in the 2530 series, with four 1G SFP uplinks and a 382 W PoE+ budget in a deeper chassis.
What uplinks and transceivers does the J9775A use?
The J9775A has four fixed Gigabit Ethernet SFP ports. They are 1G SFP slots, so 10G SFP+ optics are not supported. HPE requires SFPs of revision B or later, meaning the product number ends in B or a later letter.
