A key advantage of this module is its DOM (Digital Optical Monitoring) support—signaled by the “D” in its part number. DOM provides real-time monitoring of optical power levels, voltage, and temperature, helping IT teams proactively diagnose link issues and maintain uptime.
This genuine Cisco SFP is fully hot-swappable, drawing low power, and supports a commercial extended temperature range (–5 °C to 85 °C). Compliant with IEEE 802.3z and SFP MSA, it ensures seamless compatibility across Cisco Catalyst, Nexus, ASR, and ISR devices.
