The Cisco SFPs for GE applications are durable, industry-standard devices designed to connect switches and routers efficiently to a network. GLC-BX-D= is a 1000BASE-BX10-D downstream bidirectional single fiber device. A 1000BASE-BX10-D device is always connected to a 1000BASE-BX10-U device incorporating Wavelength-Division Multiplexing technology for efficient bidirectional communication.
