AXIS A9801 Security Relay (5801-141)

The AXIS A9801 Security Relay is designed to improve security for doors controlled by Axis network video door stations. This compact relay, which fits in most standard installation boxes, is installed on the secure side of the door. In case of tampering or vandalism attempts, the relay cuts the connection to the door strike, ensuring that the door remains securely locked. The relay also acts as a power transformer, doubling the 12 V output from a door station to enable control of 24 V locks without the need for additional wiring or power supplies. The normal function can be restored via the relay's reset button.
