The Axis T8129 Power over Ethernet Extender is the ideal solution for extending the distance between Axis network video products beyond the standard 100 meters (328 feet). By adding an AXIS T8129 for every additional 100 meters of cable, you can extend both Ethernet and PoE connections to greater distances, depending on the camera model and power source. This extender does not require an additional power supply, as the connected network camera is powered by a single PoE switch or midspan, simplifying installation. With plug-and-play installation, the extender maintains full-rate network throughput across the extended distance.
