This 1RU firewall supports advanced remote access VPN termination, BGP, and OSPF routing functions. For enhanced Layer 7 application control and advanced threat defense capabilities, the Firepower 1140 appliance with FTD software is recommended. The FPR1140-ASA-K9 Cisco Firepower 1140 ASA Appliance can be managed through the Firepower Management Center (FMC), which provides a centralized management console for configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting one or multiple FPR1140-ASA-K9 appliances through a unified interface.
