The Intel Ethernet Network Adapter X710-T4 is a quad-port 10GBASE-T network adapter designed for high-density server and data center connectivity. Four RJ45 connections support standard copper cabling, while autonegotiation between 100 Mb/s, 1GbE, and 10GbE helps integrate the adapter with existing network infrastructure. The adapter uses a PCI Express 3.0 x8 host interface and the Intel Ethernet Controller XL710.
The X710-T4 supports cable distances of up to 100 meters with CAT6A for 10GBASE-T, while 10GBASE-T over CAT6 is supported up to 55 meters. Hardware-assisted virtualization and packet-processing technologies include SR-IOV, Virtual Machine Device Queues, Flexible Port Partitioning, Intel Ethernet Flow Director, Dynamic Device Personalization, and DPDK optimization.
