The MX480 Ethernet Services Router is designed as a dense and highly redundant platform, primarily focusing on serving as a dedicated access aggregation and provider edge services solution for medium-sized and large Points of Presence (POPs). It features an 8x MX480 premium three chassis with enhanced midplane, redundant RE, SCBEs, and AC power.
