MX240

The SDN-enabled MX240 Universal Routing Platform offers high performance, scale, and investment protection for a wide variety of service providers and enterprise applications. Those include business and residential broadband services and high-volume data center internetworking.

At just five rack units (5 U), the MX240 is a compact, a modular platform offering up to 3 Tbps of system capacity with the MPC10E line card, ideal for space-constrained environments. It concurrently supports high-density 10GbE, 40GbE, 100GbE, and 400GbE interfaces, as well as legacy SONET/SDH, ATM, and PDH connectivity. The MX240 also supports Flexible Ethernet (FlexE), sophisticated timing capabilities, Junos fusion technology, and Juniper's Virtual Chassis technology, which helps streamline network design and operation.
